Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo is set to chair a high-level workshop focused on agricultural transformation in Kano State, scheduled for October 7-8, 2024.

This event, organized by the Sasakawa Africa Association in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), aims to highlight the successes of the Kano State Agropastoral Development Project (KSADP) and explore opportunities for similar initiatives across Nigeria. The workshop will also feature discussions on large-scale mechanization support for farmers and presentations on agricultural financing from IsDB officials.
