Since the start of the Grain from Ukraine program, Ukraine has exported over 221,000 tons of agricultural products to 10 countries in Africa. This initiative aims to provide much-needed food aid to developing nations impacted by the disruption in global grain supplies caused by the Russian invasion.
The shipments have included wheat, corn, and other grains destined for countries such as Ethiopia, Yemen, Afghanistan, Sudan, Somalia, Kenya, and Djibouti. This program represents Ukraine's efforts to maintain its role as a major global food exporter and support food security in the world's most vulnerable regions despite the ongoing conflict.
