Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the export of its entry-level SUV, the Exter, to South Africa, marking a significant expansion in its export portfolio. The first shipment consists of 996 units, making the Exter the eighth model exported to the country, which has been a key market for Hyundai over the past 20 years.

The Exter has already seen considerable success in India, exceeding 100,000 sales within a year of its launch, and Hyundai is optimistic that it will replicate this popularity in the South African market.
