Stakeholders in Nigeria are expressing concern over the country's inability to fully leverage global health benefits, which hampers its response to pressing public health challenges.

Despite receiving significant funding from international health initiatives aimed at combating diseases like HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria, Nigeria struggles with inadequate infrastructure and mismanagement of resources. This situation has led to high mortality rates and persistent health issues, highlighting the need for a more integrated approach to health policy that effectively utilizes both domestic and international support to improve health outcomes for Nigerians.
