Denis Postovoy, a 44-year-old Russian citizen residing in Sarasota, Florida, has been arrested for illegally exporting U.S. military drone technology to Russia. Charged by the U.S. Department of Justice, he allegedly conspired to violate the Export Control Reform Act, engaged in money laundering, and defrauded the U.S. government.

Since February 2022, Postovoy reportedly procured microelectronic components with military applications and exported them without the necessary licenses, using a network of companies based in Hong Kong and Russia to conceal the true destination of the shipments.
