Dangote Petroleum Refinery has firmly denied allegations that it is reselling crude oil purchased from the United States and Nigeria, following reports suggesting operational challenges at the facility.
The company, responding to a Reuters report, emphasized that its crude distillation unit (CDU) is fully operational and that it is not authorized to sell crude oil. Dangote Industries labeled the claims as misleading and aimed at undermining the refinery's reputation, urging the public to disregard what they termed "false narratives" driven by opposing interests in the oil sector.
