Ukraine has successfully exported 13 million tons of goods through the Black Sea corridor, which was established after Russia pulled out of the United Nations-backed grain deal. Over 400 ships have been used to transport these goods, which include agricultural products.
The corridor was initially envisioned as a humanitarian corridor to allow the departure of ships stranded since the start of the war, but it has since grown into a full-blown trade route. Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov noted that 1,286 vessels have passed through the corridor since August, exporting 25 million metric tons of agricultural products to Asia, Africa, and Europe.
