Bangladesh is poised to capitalize on the huge potential for exporting agro-processed products, with exports growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of **18%** over the past five years.
The country currently exports over **700 items**, including **63 key agro-processed products** such as frozen fish, processed meat, and various fruits and vegetables. With **486 agro-processing manufacturers** in operation, the sector is set to expand further, driven by increasing global demand and favorable trade relations with more than **140 countries**. This growth presents significant opportunities for Bangladesh to enhance its economic stability and food security through agro-exports.
